Our History

With a profound heritage deeply entrenched in innovation and engineering prowess, our company has garnered worldwide acclaim in the global industry. Its origins can be traced back to France, where it was founded in 1943 under the acronym “Societe Technique pour l’Utilisation de la Precontrainte,” commonly known as “STUP.” This name translates to “Technical Society for the use of prestressing.”

STUP was the brainchild of Eugène Freyssinet, a visionary in the fields of civil and structural engineering. Freyssinet, an alumnus of Ecole Polytechnique, is widely regarded as the pioneering force behind pre-stressed concrete—an innovation that has revolutionized the construction industry and continues to be a fundamental component in the design and construction of modern structures worldwide.

In 1976, the company expanded its presence to the United States as a project management firm, marking a pivotal moment in its history. Over the years, it has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving into a veritable knowledge hub that empowers businesses to seize opportunities and overcome the ever-changing challenges of the modern world.

Despite this evolution, our core values and principles have remained steadfast. We continue to be dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that redefine industry standards and offer the highest levels of service excellence. Our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in industry and business remains unwavering, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of our field and continue to shape the future.

In essence, our journey has been defined by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, a dedication to collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to quality. These principles, coupled with our innovative spirit and global perspective, position us as a leader in the strategy and management consulting, enabling our clients to face the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow with confidence and competence.
